DELRIN® Series Black is a homopolymer acetal material that is manufactured by Ensinger (using DuPont™ Delrin® resin) and sold under the tradename TECAFORM® AD black. Delrin® 150 black exhibits a high melting point and high strength, but is sensitive to hydrolysis with continuous exposure to hot water over 140°F and steam. Black Delrin®, POM-H holds a slightly higher density, hardness and strength than acetal POM-C. Furthermore, POM-H black has excellent wear resistance and good sliding properties, as well as an outstanding machining ability, thus, making POM-H black an extremely adaptable engineering material. Delrin® is a registered trademark of DuPont. TECAFORM® is a registered trademark of Ensinger.
