Norplex-Micarta® MC511AF (NEMA G-11) - Epoxy Glass Sheet is a high medium weight fiberglass epoxy resin composite that offers excellent physical, mechanical, and electrical properties at both room temperature and elevated temperatures. The product retains at least 50% of its room-temperature flexural strength at 150°C (E-1/150,T-150). In use, the product is often exposed to continuous temperatures as high as 155°C for up to a decade. And in short-term applications such as insulation in aerospace and defense systems, the material withstands temperatures in excess of 300°C. Halogen-free to conform to European restrictions, MC511AF is specially formulated to meet exacting power generation standards requiring higher strength at elevated temperatures.
