TECAFORM® AH LM white is a modified POM-C which contains a special additive that allows for a very high degree of contrast when marked with laser etching plastic technology. The laser markings exhibited by TECAFORM AH LM white manifest themselves as dark grey or black in color, in contrast to other more simple color modifications, which result in a less visible color shift that is more light grey or white when exposed to plastic laser input and only barely visible. This very high contrast of plastic laser marking in TECAFORM AH LM also makes possible the use of very small font sizes necessary for the smallest part surfaces. Laser-markable plastic acetal ensures compliance to traceability requirements in both food and pharmaceutical industries, and meets legal and agency requirements associated with those industries such as FDA and EU 10/2011.
